Benefit Concert This Friday!

apr 20 nieds

As many of you know, the Four Fiddlin’ Sisters, who go by the name of Queen of the West, are no strangers to Jim Nied‘s Nied’s Hotel. They’ve played for us here several times. They also appeared with me on KDKA TV’s Pittsburgh Today Live AND “live on Gobbler’s Knob” for Groundhog Day, 2018! It’s truly been a joy and a blessing to get to know Emily, Camille, Lillian, and Josephine (and their fabulous Mom and Dad, Tarissa and Mike) and to perform with them.

And now this: The two older sisters are raising money for a European Tour later this year with the Three Rivers Youth Symphony. And the two younger sisters are doing likewise for their trip to Idaho to compete in the National Old Time Fiddler’s Championship! We want to help them and we figured the best way to do so is a Fundraising Concert at Nied’s Hotel! So get it on your calendars, Dear Friends: Friday, April 20th. It will be FREE to get in, but please bring along a little extra to throw in the hat to help these fine young women pursue their dreams!
